The Delwa*Star Anal Heater

You've got to be kidding!  This is the first response I generally hear when I bring up the anal heater.  But this is very serious business for many of us. 

I first read about this tool in Dr. Robert Jay Rowen's "Second Opinion" newsletter of March, 2003.  The headline, "Hot New Cure for Prostate Problems"! 

That quickly caught my eye, since in 2002 I was under going radiation treatments for prostate cancer. But, this

is NOT A TREATMENT FOR CANCER. The article explained how heat applied rectally shrinks hemorrhoids and the prostate gland.  The unit is FDA approved for hemorrhoids.  Quickly it was found to help prostate patients also.  But, just as important important  it improved the immune system, whereby the body can heal itself.  This happens in two ways.  First it raises the temperature, creating an immune response.  This is why, when you  have a medium range temperature, many doctors recommend leaving it alone.  The immune system kicks in when the temperature rises.  Second, going to Traditional Chinese Medicine, two key meridians run through this area.  Heat tonifies and energizes meridians. Thus, we have a process where the body is healing itself.  I have found through personal experience that it produces more energy.  Probably by eliminating some unknown infections. 

Perhaps it is worth repeating this is an FDA approved treatment for hemorrhoids, and a very good one.  Likewise the results with prostrate problems has been sensational.  It also stimulates your immune system, a real big Plus!
